Request for Deputation

Deputations may be made to Council or committee. Requests for support are generally heard first by the appropriate committee. The committee then makes a recommendation to Council. Clerks' staff will review your request for deputation and confirm a meeting date with you. Deputations are limited to no more than ten (10) minutes.

Requests for deputations must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the meeting date.

Please Note: Scheduling will be at the discretion of the City Clerk and will be confirmed prior to the meeting deadline. There are no guarantees that by requesting a certain date your deputation will be accepted as prior commitments may make it necessary to schedule an alternate date.
