Some Harrison Park Trail & Road Closures

UPDATE: Freedom Trail & Harrison Park Island (trails and playground) have reopened as of March 21.
Due to flooding and damage, the following trails and roads in Harrison Park are temporarily closed:
- Mile Drive Trail (entire trail)
- Campground Roads & Trails
- Pool Roads (entry & exit)

The Harrison Park Inn Restaurant, Senior’s Centre, and Community Centre remain open.

Park access is still available via 1st Street East & Fitness Trail.

Green Bin Colouring Contest Submission

Calling all young artists under 18 who live in or go to school in Owen Sound — this one’s for you!

Grab the official colouring page (available through your school, at City Hall, or download it here) and show us your creativity.

Use this form to submit a photo or scanned version of your completed masterpiece (a smartphone pic works great!).  Keep your original — it’s yours to proudly display! 

Please complete one form per submission.

Deadline to submit: Friday, May 30 at noon

Winner announced: the first week of June, when Green Bin collection starts

The lucky winner (chosen at random) will score:

  • City swag
  • A season’s pass to the Harrison Park outdoor pool
  • A composting pack for their class or school
  • And have their artwork featured on the City’s Green Bin webpage
