Green Bin Delivery Has Started

Owen Sound's Green Bin program collection begins in June of 2025, and green bins have started to arrive at eligible households.

Bins are being delivered by a third party contractor to the bottom of your driveway.

You do not need to be present to get your bin. If you are away for an extended time, have a friend or neighbour set it aside for you.

Rec Program Sponsorship - Swimming and Skating

Thank you for sponsoring a City-run recreation program.  This is a great way to promote your business and show community support in Owen Sound, all while promoting healthy and family-focused activities!

Sponsored Swims:
Please indicate the date or dates you are interested in sponsoring. Sponsorships are $240 + HST per swim.  For two swims, it is $380 + HST - a discount savings of $100!

Your sponsorship will provide families with 1.5 hours of Free Family Swimming on Wednesday evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

In appreciation of your generous support, your business name and logo will be proudly showcased as a community sponsor of a Free Public Swim on the City’s Online Events Calendar, Recreation webpage, and social media channels, reaching a wide audience. Plus, gain high-visibility promotion on the digital screen in City Hall's busy lobby and on printed signage in City facilities.
